Piper‑Heidsieck Brings Sparkle to the Tennis at Maison Bâtard’s Le Club
Piper‑Heidsieck Named 2026 Australian Open Official Champagne
A select group of Melbourne’s who’s who sampled the new cabaret‑inspired entertainment, as high‑profile champagne house Piper‑Heidsieck celebrated its 8th Australian Open with a glamorous party at Maison Bâtard’s Le Club. The champagne, distributed exclusively by Oatley Wines.
Champagne meets cabaret, Piper‑Heidsieck adding sparkle to the celebration and AO, 2026.
VIP guests toasted the summer of tennis with Piper-Heidsieck’s signature Cuvée Brut, poured from a three-litre Jeroboam uncorked by Olympic gold medalist Noemie Fox, Tennis Australia’s Cedric Cornelis, and Rob Hassan of Oatley Fine Wines.
Golden guest Noemie Fox joins the party, with Tennis Australia’s Cedric Cornelis and Oatley Wines’ Rob Hassan raising a glass to Piper-Heidsieck.
The venue of four floors brought French flair to Le Club, treating guests to a burlesque show and standout canapés from celebrated UK chef Adam Sanderson, whose career includes Noma and The Fat Duck. Working alongside Lucas Group’s Damian Snell — a classically trained chef known for keeping things fresh and taking bold risks, the menu impressed. Turning a school night into a feast with flawless canapés with Piper‑Heidsieck champagne flowing, the whole night sparkled.
